Bio

Paisley Jane Mattingly was born in New Braunfels, Texas, on March 27th, 2003. She was born and raised in Texas, living and attending school in various parts of said state, eventually settling down in Wimberley Texas to attend Texas State University.

Born to a plumber for a father and a poet for a mother, Paisley knew she was going to have to pick one of the two to pursue once she came of age...and the arts were definitely calling her name.

From the age of five, Paisley took an intense interest in both acting and singing, but only when she was eleven did she take the next step. For Christmas that same year, all she asked for was a mic. From that day forward, Paisley sang covers, usually in Japanese, and uploaded them onto YouTube as a pastime.

With this hobby came her introduction to voice acting. From age thirteen to the present, Paisley has been a part of many fandubs, comic readings, video games, and more, though her focus has shifted to being on the screen in more than just cadence.

When high school rolled around, she was offered access to the theatre arts department, where she immediately began auditioning for any show that held availability. It was also during this transitive time that she began her classical vocal training with country music star Mary Margaret.

During her Junior year, COVID-19 hit, and she transferred to a specialized performing arts school by the name of 'The Austin School Of Visual And Performing Arts'. It was there that she fell in love with the concept of film acting.

After graduating, she began taking film acting lessons with Juliard-trained actress Mona Lee Fultz, as well as vocal lessons with Juliard-trained opera singer Marie Engle.

She is continuing her artistic education while attending college for a communications and foreign language degree, all while enthusiastically doubling up to follow her dreams, of working as an actress.
